technical questions about irde*o2 smartcards

hi it s my first message,

i like smartcards, these days, iam interest with irde*o2 cards, i want to log data communication with irde*o2 card, i want to learn basics of this technology..

so
questions

1 -- which hardware should i use for communicating with irde*o2 card? can i use my PC or should i use dreambox or another receiver? what is your hardware advise for research job?

2 -- can i use irde*o2 cam with PC,, (with usb or serial interface)

3 -- how can i send my first hello world command to card and how can see card's answer? if i can do it, it will be first step of fun.

4 -- is there a manual or document about irde*o2 cam & cards offical or unofficial,

5 -- is there a communication protocol of irde*o2? what is that? and can you send details about that?

6 -- is there a research community for reversing irde*o2 smartcards? what are they?,,

these questions are very important for me, and these are first steps of my work,,
