entra con
nik: root pass. dreambox che sono quelle che ai al momento vai su telnet e scrivi passwd e clicca invio dopo scrivi la tua sempre invio mentre scrivi non vedrai nulla ripeti la pass e vedrai che la cambia user:root |

This is the easiest way to change your root password in DreamBox.
(Default username: root & Default password: dreambox) In PC any Windows version: Step1: Click Start Step2: click RUN Step3: type: CMD Step4: type: telnet 192.168.1.2 <-- that was an exemple write the ip of your Dreambox instead of 192.168.1.2 Step5: It asks for user type: root Step6: It asks for password type: dreambox Step7: type: passwd Step8: type your new password Step9: type your new password again Step10: reboot your DreamBox and you have a new root password! |

Click on telnet tab in DCC, Then type passwd and hit enter. type password once then repeat. your pass is now change. You will not seeany charecter appear on screen when you enter pass that is normal.
