Hello guys

How can I make my vu duo secure by preventing anyone logging into the box ? Like setting up a username and password.

Setting up a username is not necessary and useless on a Dream/VU box

Some VU Image give you the posseblity to change the password for root somewhere in the menus.

If not you can telnet to your box.

Logging with root

Type: passwd root

Now you have to give your new password for root (twice)

Now you have a (changed) password.
