Default Orange to launch six new channels

Orange in France plans to launch six new TV channels on its platform in February, including three available to all subscribers.

On the pay TV side, Orange will add Japanese animation channel KZTV to its Thématique standard package (available via both IPTV and satellite), while classic and jazz music channel Mezzo will be available in the Musique and Extra packages, along with Mezzo HD, which will be available to subscribers able to receive HD signals. Kuwait-based religious channel Al Resalah will become the 11th channel in Orange’s Arabic package (available on IPTV but not on satellite).

Orange will also add French regional channels TéléGrenoble Isère, IDF1 and Vosges TV to its IPTV platform across France (although the channels will not be available on the satellite version of the service).
