Italian satellite platform owned Sky Italia, a group of Rupert Murdoch's News Corp. entered the second quarter of fiscal year 2011 operating loss of $ 12,000,000 compared to $ 30 million in the same quarter last year.

News Corp. announced that revenue increased due to higher advertising revenues and subscribers increased by 71 thousand. Total pay-TV operator has 4.87 million clients.
