is it possible to share the card using cccam and also update it under cccam?

yes, but the best configuration for nds cards is oscam + cccam
if you use directly in cccam can your card can be deactivated by nds

aha, ok, i spoke to someone yesterday who shares viasat with newcs/cccam combination.

would you still recommend oscam over that?

also, is it ok to share using a dm800 or would you say it was better to use a smargo with it, those are the only options i have, i cant use a debian server for this.

yes, because newcs cannot protect the card from unknown emm and nano and the card can be deactivated

So with this card (SD) on oscam, there will be no need to update the card in original box?

I'm asking this because my friend lives in england and bought the box/card from lithuania and now the box is not working and i'm trying to help him as he's paying for his card. he knows nothing about "this world" so i'll have to configure a box for him, but if it needs hard work to update, he'll not manage to do it.

I've just read that the original card can be deactivated by nds when using the card in DB. I have a DM800HD se and I'm using oscam. It worked fine for one day and that was it. Now the card doesn't work in the original box either. Is it possible, that the card has been deactivated by NDS?
